- I am enjoying the benefits of having lived a very busy life and now loving this other life that I was waiting for...time to do what I really want to do/not do, and not feel ashamed of it. Sept.2015.......Took me a long time to get to this point. When I first started to paint it was 2010 and when I first started to write! Well, I think my painting has evolved to a higher level ( I'm glad to report). For the last several years I got involved in Thousand Oaks Art Assoc. and taken part in several Art Shows, even winning at one time and sold a painting last year! I'm the News Editor of their news letter every month and so have been quite busy. A new event that has added even more to the enrichment of my Art interest is being a part of a new group, MALA, which has members from the Maharashtrian community in L.A really excited about this because all of us in this group love to paint and I'm. Quite sure that we will find plenty of opportunities to exhibit our Art. Our first such exhibition will be at the Maharashtra Mandal of L.A, at the Ganesh Utsav on Sept. 19, 2015. Looking forward to this as are all the other members of MALA.
